Responsibilities:
1.
Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
2.
Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
3.
Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures.
4.
Accurately read and interpret product specifications and blueprints.
5.
Use metrology tools to measure, inspect and test product parts to ensure they meet the required specifications.
6.
Operate and program CNC machines and CMM equipment.
7.
Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure product precision.
8.
Conduct Statistical Process Control (SPC) analyses to monitor and control manufacturing processes.
9.
Record inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes, and inputting data into the quality database.
10.
Train the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence.
11.
Propose improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
Qualifications:
1.
A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Quality Inspector in the manufacturing industry.
2.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.
3.
Extensive knowledge of GD&T and precision manufacturing.
4.
Practical experience with CNC machines and CMM equipment.
5.
Familiarity with metrology and measurement tools.
6.
Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC).
7.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.
8.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10.
Proven ability to maintain a high level of accuracy under pressure.
11.
Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
